Join us for a weekend away at Babbler State Park for our annual Spring Retreat!
Where: Babler State Park (800 Guy Park Dr, Wildwood, MO 63006)
We are staying at the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) - once in the park use the directions below & watch for the Spina Bifida signs to get to the OEC
Driving Directions:
Follow Guy Park Drive (1.3m) Veer left on Wirth Dr.
Travel (.3m) on Wirth Dr.
Turn left on Lake Road.
Follow Lake Rd. to the parking lot and check in at the Main Office.
When: May 16-18
Who: Anyone who is part of our St. Louis Spina Bifida family.
Cost: Free for the individual with Spina Bifida and their immediate family members.
*COST for all non-immediate family members* (to cover their cost for park usage and lodging)
Overnight Friday or Saturday, $15 per person, per night
Day Only Saturday, $8 per person
All cabins hold 12-16 people. They have lots of space to move around & accessible bathrooms (including roll in showers & flush toilets). Cabins must be shared by several of our Spina Bifida families in attendance. Main pathways are paved and easily accessible by all. There is a large outdoor dining pavilion where we’ll eat most of our meals. Saturday dinner & bingo will be in the indoor dining hall.
What to Bring if Staying Overnight:
- Clothes (nothing fancy required)
- Sheets (Twin bed size, or larger sizes can be wrapped)
- Blanket
- Pillow(s)
- Towels/Hand Towels/Washcloths
- Toiletries/Personal Items
NO pets please except service dogs!
We need all RSVP's No later than May 7th so we can update the Park on the number of attendees.
What is there to do: Spend Friday or Saturday night (or both) and/or just come out for the day Saturday. We have access to the gym and grounds.
